Another location that we thought would be good for our music video is the park as that is where the protagonist will go to clear her head, to gain closure etc and to think about why her boyfriend has left her. Below is an image we took of the park we have in mind and the surrounding area of the council estate to complete the urban mise-en-scene of an urban life. The bleakness will also match the protagonist's mood and it shows that her world isn't a very happy one.

Research into filming locations and why they are appropriate
As we want the mise-en-scene of our music video to be urban to match with the fact that Hip Hop is urban, we have chosen urban areas to film our music video. From our research from looking at other urban music videos, we have come to the conclusion that they do not use a variety of locations as they keep it as naturalistic as possible. We decided that we will do this too and below are some images of locations we have in mind.
This is a photograph we took of the fountains at Piccadilly Gardens. We are going to film here because fountains represent love, and we will be filming these fountains from a point of view shot from our protagonist who will be looking at them and feeling even more heartbroken as her boyfriend has left and she still loves him. The fact that these fountains ascend and descend is useful for our filming as we will film the fountains doing exactly that-our protagonist will think of a happy of memory of herself and her boyfriend which we will show, and the water will rise, then as the memory of her receiving the text of him leaving her enters back into her mind, we will add the clip of the water descending.
